Which gigi wax to use

Send Cancel. You May Also Need. Add to Bag Add. GiGi Honee Wax Warmer. What is it? This is a perfect body waxing product for the skin. How To Use. Pro Tips. Street Address. I immediately threw it in the trash. I used it yesterday and it was good at removing the hair but it didn't pull some of the hair.

Today my body is having allergies because elf the product. My body gives reaction when the product is disgusting and yes I have allergies reaction now and some parts of my body is red but it looks like a scar and it hurts so bad. The thing is my body is not sensitive and if it gives reaction the product is really bad. It's not worth it go buy another brand. This wax stuck to my face when I tried to rip it off. No matter what kind of material I used to take off the wax it still stayed.

It didn't take off much hair at all and was a complete waste of money. Just wanted to let you potential buyers know. I'm a licensed esthetician and use this wax for large areas like legs and arms and it works great.

It's a soft wax so of course it's going to be messy and make sure it's spread thin or else it will be difficult to take off hair without pulling some skin.

I have been waxing at home for almost a year but this was my first time trying this product. God help you if you get this on clothing, hair, or carpet. I inevitably got some on my hands while waxing and it took me 4 coatings of baby oil to finally get it all off. I would definitely not recommend this for a first time waxer or you are going to have a bad time. This stuff is really messy I mean I expected it because well hot wax but this was extremely sloppy no matter how it was heated.

I also have a lot of bruising and even welts!! I've never had this happen before I would have been better off shaving. Love this wax, I totally recommend it. It's affordable and a really great product. This container lasts A really long time. I use it to do a full at home brazilian wax. I also wax my armpits. I do not use the strip. I started using this product a few years ago with the starter kit. I warm the wax on the high setting once it warms up i put it on the lowest setting for a few minutes.

When I start waxing I use the medium setting. It leaves me so smooth. This wax was very messy. I tried to use at different temperatures with no success. The wax didn't stick to the strips properly. I loved GiGi hard wax, I'm going back to that. I liked that I could just heat it up in the microwave but it took almost 4 minutes on high to heat though and then the wax broke off when applied. Very Disappointed. I'm my experience this was tended to break a lot and I had a hard time removing it.

For a beginner I personally thought the Gigi honee wax was easier to use although a bit messier of a process. Highs recommend having the solution to remove excess wax from unwanted areas just in case it removes unevenly or breaks happen in the wax.

Let me begin by saying, I have never- not once- ever reviewed a purchase- good or bad. This is the worst waxing product I have ever tried to use, and I have used a lot. Made a horrible mess, impossible to work with, and hardened up so fast I was picking little pieces off my skin and they were STUCK.

This was the most painful waxing experience, and I literally have this stuff all over my face, my fingers, strings of it in my hair When I used their brand of cooling gel after the wax, it instantly made my eyes almost swell shut. I looked up videos and tutorials but I could not handle the wax, it was so sticky and it got hard very quickly.

On my first and final use of the product, the wax became far too brittle and would break each time I tried to pull it off. It wouldnt even melt properly after I had put it back in the microwave a few times to keep the wax in the right state as it directs! I was using the product as directed and even used their "Epilating Trial Pack" with the pre hon, wax off, and post cooling wax.

I found myself having to pick it off and it was extremely painful and caused some unnecessary bleeding. There were little pieces all over my floor and the clean up sucked. Definitely trying a different wax next time. This product was messy and ridiculously sticky- I had to Google how to remove wax from skin olive oil did the trick. The wax did not fully remove all hair and I was left with severe abrasions. I have sensitive skin and take medication, I experienced some burning skin after waxing and on two occasions it took tiny bit of skin or left blood dot behind.

I'll still use it because it works and I think its amazing for the price of a wax facial service, I'll just do it myself! It took a full min in my microwave for the wax to get warm and spreadable. I used it on my legs and I kid you not when I ripped the hair out I felt no pain. Some areas were left slightly red but that was temporary. It completely removed my hair but I also let it grow out pretty long. Be careful when you scoop the wax on the stick and pull it out if you don't twirl it around before you take it out it can get messy and get everywhere.

First, the product takes way longer than a minute to get anywhere near the right consistency when it's new. But don't try to use the applicators to break through the top layer, it will break them. Then, the wax itself is a mess, once it touches something you can kiss it goodbye. I accidentally dropped some in a towel and it will never come out. If it gets stuck in your skin, it's a problem. I've had plenty of wax experiences in my life but this was useless. Wish I could post pictures.

As the name of this wax hints, this green colored wax contains tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is a powerful antiseptic and an anti fungal ingredient. If you end up with blocked pores, breakouts, or acne after waxing, this is a great ingredient to have in your wax. This is a great facial wax, especially if most waxes break you out.

The Gigi Tea Tree creme wax is excellent for breakout prone, sensitive skin, and gentle waxing. The consistency of the Gigi Azulene wax is between a honey wax and a cream wax and comes in a blue tint, like creme waxes.

The special ingredient in this wax is Azulene oil, which is derived from flowers, usually of chamomile flowers. It helps reduces redness and inflammation to calm skin after waxing. Like the Tea Tree wax, the azulene oil in this creme wax makes this a sensitive wax for sensitive skin. The Gigi Azulene wax is excellent for redness prone, sensitive skin, and gentle waxing.

Of all of the creme waxes, the Gigi Ultra Sensitive Wax with zinc oxide is a unique option. All of the creme waxes are ideal for sensitive skin. But the zinc oxide ingredient in this wax helps create a barrier between the wax and your skin. Waxing is technically a traumatic process as you are ripping the hair out by its roots from your skin.

It can result in redness or worse. The zinc oxide protects and soothes your skin from the trauma. You will notice far less redness or irritation with this wax. In addition to zinc oxide, this wax contains calendula flower extract, chamomile flower extract, safflower seed oil, and mineral oil.

So what is great about this wax?
