First before my question: Wow the recipe sounds great. Especially adding in the blueberries. Any other dried fruit would work? How about adding in dates? A natural source of sweetness. We love having packages of dried ginger to snack on. Would that work since it would mean they would be baked. I make a double batch weekly. My family of 5 gobbles it up! Made some modifications because I did not have a couple of things on hand but it is quite tasty. It over cooked a little. My oven is a bit wonky so that could account for the problem. I made this last night with some slight changes based on what was in my pantry. I would like to add chocolate to this as this will be my first time making this recipe. Not sure what type of chips, sweet, bittersweet or chunks of dark chocolate, but not sure when to add this to the recipe. I used vanilla sugar and added orange oil instead! I make basically the same granola, but I add milled flaxseed, wheat germ and oat bran for extra nutrition and a little added ooommph.
